1579 Dated German/Austrian Wheellock Musketeer's Powder Flask
A very nice untouched German/Austrian Wheellock Musketeer's powder flask, circa. 16th century dated "1579". Stag horn body with wrought iron mounts. One side of the body of the flask has been polished down to expose a smooth white surface that has been decorated in military motif with "AD 1579". A very good example.
Measures: 10.75" overall length including the spout.
